HISTORY:
THE R.A.A.F FIRE SCHOOL AT POINT COOK, VICTORIA WAS OPENED IN 1957 AND THE MUSTERING: FIREMAN CAME INTO BEING. THE TITLE OF ‘THE R.A.A.F FIRE SERVICE’ IS USED AS A BROAD TERM ONLY.
THE R.A.A.F FIRE AND RESCUE BADGE WAS DESIGNED BY PETER HANCOCK © 1984 AND ALTHOUGH ADOPTED BY MANY, THE BADGE HAS NOT BEEN OFFICIALLY RECOGNISED
